Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Career by Junagal ("Service") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data. For UK data protection law, Junagal acts as the data controller for core account data.

1. Data We Collect

2. How We Use Data

3. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

4. Third-Party Processors

We use vetted service providers to operate the Service, including:

When you use AI features (for example CV parsing, role analysis, and tailored CV generation), we send job description text and relevant CV/profile content to the Gemini API to produce outputs. We take steps to minimize data shared, including redacting common direct identifiers (for example email addresses, phone numbers, and URLs) from CV text before sending.

We do not store raw card numbers on our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers, when required by law, or in connection with protecting rights, safety, or security.

6. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.

7. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for limited periods after deletion for legal, tax, fraud, and security obligations. You can export your data and request deletion from Settings.

8. Your Rights

We aim to respond to verified privacy rights requests within one calendar month.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and secure session continuity. We also offer optional analytics cookies (Firebase Analytics) to understand traffic and improve the Service. Analytics cookies are disabled until you opt in, and you can change your choice later.

See our Cookie Notice for more details.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised date at the top of this page.

13. Contact and Complaints
